Living With Art Summary

I found the beginning of this reading to be interesting. I like how it went into the depth of the story behind Horace Pippins' drawing of John Brown Going to His Hanging. The rest of the reading was very informative. I did get bored at times, I must admit, but was intrigued at others. The painting of the grotesque woman really is not that pretty to look at. I really felt bad if a woman truly looked like that. Richard Haas is another artist that made me wonder if it were possible. Thanks Bill for this reading assignment and I hope I passed the quiz too.
